Miley Cyrus’s album has been streamed a billion times on Spotify

Singer and actress Miley Cyrus has broken another music record: her album Plastic Hearts has been listened to over 1 billion times on Spotify.

The singer shared the news on her Instagram page. Cyrus published a special picture with the record. Also, he showed pictures from the series “before” and “after”: in one of the pictures, you can see the singer at the very beginning of her career, during the time of “Hannah Montana”, and on the second – during one of the recent concerts. In the signature, Cyrus talks about the record.

“I am so proud to be on the same team with Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. I love and appreciate everyone who listened to Plastic Hearts and supported me from the beginning of my career! Music is an integral part of my existence. I cannot express how grateful I am to everyone who helped make my dreams come true, ” the singer writes.

Note that now Miley Cyrus is among the three performers who could achieve this result on Spotify. In addition to her, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift have one billion plays.

The Plastic Hearts album was released on November 27, 2020. The record was produced by renowned artists, including Mark Ronson and Oscar winner Andrew Wyatt. The album consists of 12 tracks, and Dua Lipa, Billy Idol and rock singer Joan Jett can be heard as guest performers.
