“Midnight Express ” and “Evita” Director Alan Parker has died

Director Alan Parker has died in the UK. He was 76 years old.

The reasons for the Director’s death are not specified. It is known that in the last few years, he was struggling with a serious illness.

The most famous films of Alan Parker — “Midnight Express,” “Evita,” “Birdy,” The Life of David Gale,” “The Wall.”

For “Birdy” in 1985, Parker won the Grand Prix at the Cannes film festival. He was nominated three times for the Golden Globe and two times for the Oscar.

Parker was the Chairman of the British Directors Guild and the founder of the British film Committee.
