Midea introduced the world’s first refrigerator with HarmonyOS

Chinese home appliance manufacturer Midea has announced its new fancy smart refrigerator.

The fact is that the new product runs on the HarmonyOS operating system, which was developed by Huawei. This is the world’s first refrigerator based on it. Thanks to HarmonyOS, the device can be paired with the company’s smartphones. This will allow you to remotely control the temperature, as well as learn information about the freshness of the products inside, and even receive recipes based on the remaining ingredients.

Among the features of the novelty, it is also worth highlighting energy efficiency and a special compartment with zero temperature. You can store meat in it. You don’t need to defrost it before cooking.

The refrigerator has a volume of 603 liters. Of these, 382 liters are occupied by the refrigerating chamber, and 194 liters – by the freezer.

The novelty has already begun to be sold in China. The issue price is 6999 yuan (about $ 1,100).
