Michigan confirms Joe Biden’s victory

The former Vice President officially received 16 Electoral College votes.

On Monday, representatives of the Michigan Election Commission witnessed the victory of Joe Biden in the state, who received 154,000 more votes than his rival, President Trump.

Members of the State Commission that verifies the correctness of the election results, which includes two Republicans and two Democrats, confirmed the presidential election results. 3 members of the Commission voted for it, and one abstained.

Trump and John James’s allies, who were vying for a Republican Senate seat, called on the Commission to delay the vote for two weeks to audit votes in Wayne County, including Detroit.

According to the laws of the state of Michigan, Biden claims at all 16 electoral votes. Biden was ahead of the incumbent President by 2.8% – more than in other states where Trump is contesting the results – Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
