NEW YORK – Former first lady Michelle Obama was named among the contenders for the American music Grammy award in the category “Spoken word-best poetry collection or audiobook.”
As reported on Wednesday on its website the Recording Academy, Obama is included in the list of five contenders in this nomination for the 2018 memoir “Becoming,” where she tells about her loved ones and years in the White House as the wife of President Barack Obama.
The 62nd Grammy awards ceremony in 84 categories will be held on January 26 in Los Angeles (California). It will be held at the Staples Center sports and entertainment complex and will be broadcast on CBS.
