Michelle Bartsch-Hackley became the MVP of the League of Nations for the second time in her career

Volleyball player of the US national team Michelle Bartsch-Hackley became the most valuable player (MVP) of the League of Nations, according to the tournament website.

The American women on Friday won the gold medals of the League of Nations, the draw of which was held in the “bubble” format in Rimini, Italy, beating the Brazilian team in the final with a score of 3-1. The bronze medals were won by the Turkish team.

The US national team won the tournament for the third time in a row. Previously, the Americans won the League of Nations in 2018 and 2019, last season the tournament was not held due to the coronavirus pandemic. For the first time, Bartsch-Hackley was recognized as the MVP of the League of Nations in 2018.

In addition to Bartsch-Hackley, the symbolic team of the tournament included: Jordyn Poulter, Justine Wong-Orantes (both from the USA), Gabi Guimaraes, Carol Gattaz, and Tandara Caixeta (all from Brazil), Eda Erdem (Turkey).
