The ex-mayor of New York has not announced his candidacy but is going to fight for the Democratic nomination.
Billionaire Michael Bloomberg has filed to participate in the presidential primary in Arkansas, which will be held on March 3.
The former New York mayor has not officially announced his involvement in the fight for the Democratic presidential nomination, but his trip to Arkansas on Tuesday indicates that he is leaning toward the nomination.
Last week, Bloomberg sent aides to Alabama to apply for that state’s primary.
Bloomberg has previously cautioned that there is no one among the available contenders for the democratic nomination capable of defeating Republican Donald Trump.
Bloomberg plans to skip election battles in States where early voting takes place and focus on the so-called “Super Tuesday States,” among them Arkansas and Alabama.
