Oklahoma City Thunder has kicked out centre Myers Lenard, insider Shams Charania reported on his Twitter page.
Leonard did not play a single game for Thunder, who traded him out of the Miami Heat last week as part of the Trevor Ariza deal. Lenard was out of action in early February for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. On March 11, the player was fined $ 50,000 by the NBA and suspended for a week for anti-Semitic remarks while streaming a video game on March 8.
Leonard’s contract ran until the end of the 2020/2021 season and included a team option for the 2021/2022 season. The basketball player will become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, but the continuation of his NBA career is in question.
