Metallica’s charity concert raised more than a million dollars

A Metallica benefit concert recorded at the band’s studio in California helped raise $ 1.3 million, according to NME.

It was held on November 14, and all proceeds were transferred to the group’s charity “All Within My Hands.”

They will be used to support the Foundation’s programs and fight COVID-19 and natural disasters.

The band performed eight acoustic songs and six electronic tracks. The first part included covers of songs by Deep Purple, Bob Seger, as well as “The house of the rising sun” and acoustic versions of “Blackened” and “Now that we’re dead.”

“Your help is significant, and we are to play for you,” frontman James Hetfield told the audience during the concert.
