Merkel discussed with Biden the summit in Geneva and the “gas” issue

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that she held a meeting with US President Joe Biden, during which she discussed with him his future meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and some other issues.

According to the head of the German government, the parties also exchanged views on the situation around the completion of the “Nord stream-2” project.

Merkel informed Biden about Berlin’s position on the “gas” issue, drawing attention to the fact that Ukraine in any case should remain a partner in gas supplies from Russia.
