Mena Suvari will become a mother for the first time

41-year-old actress Mena Suvari and her husband Michael Hope will become parents for the first time. The star herself told about this on Instagram and shared a picture in which she showed a rounded belly.

We have received the largest and most precious gift. After going through all the trauma and struggle, bypassing all doubts, our little angel chose us. Words will never be enough for me to describe my love for this beautiful soul that has come into our lives, and I will never stop trying to give her the best life possible. You are everything I have ever wanted, and the most important thing that will ever matter, she wrote.

In an interview with People, the star said that she and her husband will have a son. The baby should be born in the spring.

According to the actress, she and her husband really wanted to have a child, and they began to make active attempts from the beginning of this year. However, she did not manage to get pregnant right away.

I recorded my temperature every morning and did an ovulation test. I expected it to happen, but it didn’t. I felt overwhelmed and tense, she shared.

As a result, the star almost despaired and, abandoning attempts to get pregnant, focused on work: in July she went to Georgia to shoot a film. It was there that she felt some changes in her condition.

At first, I thought it was all about jet lag because I became very sensitive. By the end of July, I developed a few more symptoms and decided to get tested. It was a huge surprise, an absolute miracle, Mena said.

She added that at first she attributed her unsuccessful attempts to get pregnant to age, but then she realized that it is very important to trust your own body and not pay attention to the opinions of others.

When I was over 30, I was constantly asked about this. It gives you a kind of fear. It took a lot of work to really move away from that and start trusting your own body, she said.
