Recently, Meghan Markle’s “The Bench” book appeared in bookstores in the UK, USA, Canada and five other countries. Now it became known that in a week the publication was on the bestseller list prepared by The New York Times. The Duchess of Sussex announced this on her charity website Archewell.
“These poems are a love letter to my husband and son, so it was a great inspiration to me that the themes of love and involvement that I touched upon have resonated so much. I think that the formation of a more just society is based precisely on these deep values, ”wrote the wife of Prince Harry. In addition, she emphasized that in “The Bench” from a completely different side, such a phenomenon as masculinity is presented: it is shown through the softness, sensuality and affection of a father to his child. According to Markle, she managed to make a small contribution to creating the kind of future that every parent wishes for their child.
Recall that Meghan Markle’s work tells “the story of a special bond between father and son, but through the eyes of a mother.” It is noteworthy that the book is illustrated by animator Christian Robinson, whose portfolio includes Sesame Street and cartoons for Pixar.
