Media reported the first death from COVID-19 in the Kremlin

In the Russian media, there was information about the death of a Federal security service officer from COVID-19.

42-year-old major Alexey Titov served as an assistant to the duty commandant of the Moscow Kremlin, Medusa reports.

As noted, the serviceman died in the FSB hospital from pneumonia on April 30. “And after his death, his family received a positive test result for COVID-19,” the online publication notes.
This “Medusa” was reported by a source in the FSO and confirmed by two friends of Titov. Another source close to the FSO confirmed the information about the death of the major but said that the diagnosis is not known to him.

The last daily duty officer was from 21 to 22 of April. In total, he served in the Kremlin for a total of 24 years (from military service to the commandant’s office).
