Mask for detecting COVID-19 appears in the United States

In the United States, they came up with a face mask with which its owner can identify the presence of COVID-19. The invention belongs to scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University, according to an article on the MIT website.

According to experts, the secret of the miracle mask lies in a sensor that can detect the presence of virus particles by breathing. The device is placed on the inside of the mask. According to the developers, the test result will be ready in an hour and a half after its start.

Researchers can also swap sensors to detect other pathogens, including influenza or Ebola.
