Marilyn Manson intends to surrender to the police due to assault charges

American performer Marilyn Manson intends to surrender to the police in connection with an assault charge committed in 2019, CNN reports, citing the police.

Earlier it was reported that the police in the US state of New Hampshire issued an arrest warrant for Manson on charges of assaulting a videographer during a concert in Guildford in 2019. At the same time, it was explained that the charges imputed to Manson are not related to sexual offenses.

Manson should report to the Los Angeles Police Department, but it is unclear exactly when this will happen, said Guildford police Chief Anthony Bean Burpee. He added that Manson faces a sentence of up to one year in prison or a fine of up to two thousand dollars.
