On its official website, Manchester City announced the extension of the contract with midfielder Kevin De Bruyne. The new agreement of the Belgian is calculated until the summer of 2025.
De Bruyne moved to Manchester City in 2015 from Wolfsburg for € 76 million, having previously played for Werder Bremen, Chelsea and Genk. As part of the “townspeople”, the footballer has now twice become the champion of England, won the FA Cup, four League Cups and two Super Cups of the country. Kevin has been called up to the Belgian national team since 2010.
This season, the 29-year-old midfielder has taken part in 24 English Premier League matches, in which he scored 5 goals (2 from the penalty spot) and gave 11 assists. Manchester City, gaining 74 points in 31 rounds, takes first place in the championship standings.
