Maduro ordered the Venezuelan military to be ready to repel US aggression

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has ordered the armed forces to be ready to repel any us action against the country.

“I have ordered all military units to be alert and ready to defend the peace, to make impossible any attempt by the North American Empire to undertake any adventure against our homeland. Our victory will be peace,” Maduro wrote in his microblog on Twitter.

Earlier, us presidential adviser on national security John Bolton said that the US is considering “all options” for action on Venezuela.

The opposition in Venezuela attempted a coup on April 30. The head of the Parliament Juan Guaido, illegally proclaimed himself President, and his supporters gathered in Caracas before the military base “Carlota.” Earlier, Guaido called on the Venezuelan people and army to take to the streets to complete the operation “Liberty” to overthrow the legitimate President Nicolas Maduro.
