Macron’s security guards warned him of the danger before the attack

One of the security officers of the French President Emmanuel Macron warned him about the possible danger just moments before the head of the republic approached the fence, behind which people were standing, and there was an incident with a slap in the face, reports BFMTV.

“The security officers considered that the place where the slap occurred was not safe enough to communicate with the people. The security officer advised Emmanuel Macron not to go to the fence,” the TV channel notes.

At the same time, journalists point out that such warnings are given quite often, but the decision on the next actions remains with the French president.
