The French President Emmanuel Macaron will not participate in the world economic forum in Davos, Reuters reported, citing the Elysee Palace.
The French President refused to go to the forum, citing a tight schedule. In particular, macron will participate in the national debate that began after the protests of “yellow vests”.
On January 10, the US President Donald Trump canceled his visit to the forum in Davos because of the “intransigence of Democrats on the issue of border security.”
Businessmen Oleg Deripaska and Viktor Vekselberg and VTB head Andrey Kostin are going to participate in the economic forum. Initially, the organizers of the forum called their presence “undesirable”, but after the abolition of the “Russian house” removed restrictions on businessmen.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet decided whether to participate in the economic forum.
The forum in Davos will be held from 22 to 25 January.
