“On Thursday, November 7, 2.3 thousand of the 3 thousand scheduled flights of Lufthansa Group can be performed. On Friday, November 8, 2.4 thousand flights of Lufthansa Group will be performed. As a result of the strike, the cancellation of 1.3 thousand flights will affect about 180 thousand passengers,” the statement said.

It is noted that the flights of subsidiaries of Eurowings, Germanwings, SunExpress, Lufthansa Cityline, SWISS, Edelweiss, Austrian Airlines, Air Dolomiti and Brussels Airlines will be performed as scheduled.

The airline is currently working on alternative routes that Lufthansa can offer to passengers of canceled flights.

Earlier on Friday, the UFO flight attendants Union called on Lufthansa employees to strike in connection with the failure of tariff negotiations. The strike will last from 00.00 Thursday to 24.00 Friday. The call for the boycott of all departures from German airports.
