Life is Strange: True Colors is out tonight. And reviews of the game have already appeared on the network. The PS5 version has an average Metacritic score of 82 (over 40 reviews written). On OpenCritic, the game has 81 points (based on 74 texts).
Critics praise True Colors for an interesting storyline, a striking main character, beautiful graphics, and great animation. It is argued that the developers managed to convey the feelings of the characters and their emotions. So, the author of IGN called the new Life is Strange from the studio Deck Nine the gold standard of the series. Rating – 9 out of 10.
They scold the game for about the same thing for which they praise. Not everyone liked the story. For example, a reviewer of the Push Square portal considered it boring and gave only 60 points out of 100 possible.
True Colors is strikingly different in quality from the first and second LIS – and in different directions. It’s not nearly as impressive as the original at the time, but it’s not the indelible shame that the sequel has turned into.
