LG has announced new 8K OLED TVs. Interestingly, the devices are positioned as solutions for gamers. This is stated on the official website of the company.
The TV announcement was timed to coincide with the release of NVIDIA RTX 30 video cards. According to LG, the TVs are based on the proprietary Alpha 9 Gen 3 processor with artificial intelligence support, capable of providing full 8K support for games – at 60 fps, with a bandwidth of 48 Gbps.
