LG started selling iPhone, Apple Watch and iPad in its branded stores

LG has recently started selling Apple gadgets in its LG Best Shop in South Korea.

LG made this decision after leaving the smartphone market. Moreover, despite the confrontation with retail and Samsung, which is against such cooperation. But it is understandable: when LG closed its mobile division, a niche appeared on the market, which competing manufacturers are striving to occupy. Apple’s chances increase with the start of iPhone sales in LG stores, and for small businesses this is another threat from large giants who have joined forces.

But despite this, Apple technology still appeared in the LG Best Shop. A store employee in Seoul said, “We started showing Apple devices in our store on Sunday and started official sales today. Since today is the first day of iPhone sales, several customers have visited our store and tried them out.”

Moreover, there are not only iPhones on sale but also Apple Watch smartwatches and iPad tablets. But you will not find “apple” laptops and computers here – they are in the range of LG, and no one needs extra competition.

At the same time, you can buy a smartphone only if you conclude a contract with one of the three main mobile operators – SK Telecom, KT or LG Uplus.

When asked whether Samsung smartphones will be sold in LG stores, the employee replied: “I think that only Apple smartphones will be sold.”
