Leonardo DiCaprio struck a multi-year deal with Apple

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way Productions has formed a long-term partnership with Apple to produce feature-length and serial films for the Apple TV+ streaming service. The contract provides for cooperation in the first-look format, which means that Apple has the primary right to all projects implemented by Appian Way. DiCaprio will only be able to offer its content to competing platforms if Apple rejects it.

Note that earlier, Appian Way had the same deal with Paramount for three years – however, then only feature films were taken into account. To date, Appian Way is already involved in the development of a number of major projects with DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in the lead roles.
