Ubisoft is in no rush to release the new Prince of Persia for modern consoles and PCs. In 2020, the studio only teased fans with the VR quest Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time, but home systems remained unaddressed. Judging by the new leak, Ubisoft still plans to please players on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
On the website of the Guatemalan retail chain MAX, players noticed the Prince of Persia Remake page. PS4 and Switch are indicated as platforms, and the release date, judging by the description, is scheduled for November 2020.
Prince of Persia REMAKE listings have appeared online.
For now the game is listed for Nintendo Switch and PS4 with an estimate release date of November 2020.

The leak was also noticed by Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, who earned the title of reliable source with a large list of truthful “leaks”. Apparently, the reporter’s sources have already spilled out, and on Twitter, Schreier hinted at the veracity of the leak.
“Video game retailers clearly love leaking Ubisoft surprises,” Schreier writes.
So far, we can only guess what Ubisoft is preparing. Given the increased popularity of remakes, gamers can get an updated version of Prince of Persia Sands of Time. If the announcement takes place, then it is worth waiting for the presentation at the next Ubisoft Forward in September.
