Kyiv will agree to the second round of talks with Iran on the downing of the Boeing 737-800 “International Airlines of Ukraine” near Tehran from October 18 to 21, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yevgeny Enin told.
Earlier, the Iranian Ambassador to Ukraine, Manuchehr Moradi, said that the Iranian side proposed to Kyiv to hold a second round of talks from October 18 to 21 and expects a response from Kyiv.
“We will confirm our agreement to Iran shortly,” Enin said, commenting on the Iranian proposal and answering the question when the talks will take place.
Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, commenting on the talks held in Kyiv, said that Iran agreed to fulfill all its obligations under international conventions in the field of aviation after the crash of the Ukrainian plane.
The official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Mousavi, according to official media, said that Tehran agreed to pay compensation, but noted that it would take time to work out the issue.
