Kudlow: Trump does not consider the trade agreement with China as important as before

The President is dissatisfied with Beijing’s behavior in the situation with the coronavirus.

White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said that President Donald Trump is so “offended” with Beijing over the coronavirus situation and other issues that he no longer considers the US-China trade agreement as crucial as before.

As Kudlow noted in an interview with Fox Business on Tuesday, China is also making a big mistake in the situation with Hong Kong.

“By the way, we are ready to welcome all American companies based in Hong Kong or mainland China. We will do our best in terms of covering the relocation costs if they bring the supply and production chains back to the US. This is one of the key elements of our policy,” Kudlow said.
