Kudlow: the US may increase allocations to help small businesses

White House economic adviser allowed any components in the new package of anti-crisis assistance.

White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said Sunday that any elements, including additional money for States and municipalities, could be included in the next bailout bill that may be passed.

“We are having a discussion,” Kudlow said, speaking on CNN’s “State of the country” program.

According to him, in about two weeks, the authorities should assess “what needs to be done and how to do it.”

Kudlow also admitted that the Federal government would have to invest even more in a popular program designed to help small businesses survive coronavirus-related closures.
