Kim Jong-UN said he was ready to hold the third summit with Trump

Chairman of the state Council of the DPRK Kim Jong-UN announced his intention to host a third summit with the US President Donald Trump despite the failed summit meeting in Hanoi. This was reported on Saturday by the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (CTAK).

“If we [North Korea and the United States] want to hold the third summit with the right attitude and the right method of calculation, which we are ready to share with our partners, we would like to try again”, the Agency quotes Kim Jong-UN.

The leader of the DPRK said that he intends to wait until the end of 2019, while the US leadership will take a “bold” decision to change its approach to the negotiations on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, which will allow for the third summit.

“Until the end of the year, I will be patient and wait for the American President, — Kim Jong-UN stressed. — Although it will be difficult to get the same good opportunity as last time (at the summit in Hanoi on February 27-28)”.

As noted by CTAK, Kim Jong-UN noted that for the summit it is necessary to find “constructive solutions to improve relations”.

In addition, he noted that his personal relationship with the US President continues to be good despite the inconclusive conclusion of their last meeting.

“As President Trump continues to point out, the personal relationship between me and President Trump is not as hostile as the relationship between our two countries, — Kim Jong-UN stressed. — We still have a good relationship and if we think so, we can send and receive letters asking for respect”.

It is noted that Kim Jong-UN made this statement on April 12 during his program speech to the deputies of the Supreme People’s Assembly (SPA), gathered in Pyongyang for the first session of the 14th convocation of the SPA.
