Kim Jong UN received a new letter from Trump

The leader of North Korea Kim Jong-UN has met with Deputy Chairman of the Labour Party who returned from the United States Kim Yong Chol. At the meeting he gave the head of state a personal message from the President of the United States Donald Trump. It is reported by the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea.

Following the meeting with the delegation, Kim Jong-UN said he was pleased with the results of it talks with the Americans. He instructed to make the proper preparation to the second summit of the US — North Korea. The North Korean leader also noted “Trump’s unwavering determination and the President’s desire to resolve the accumulated issues, as well as his great interest in holding the second summit.”

The first- ever the US-North Korea summit was held in June 2018 in Singapore, following which Trump and Kim Jong-UN signed a Declaration on achieving peace on the Korean Peninsula. In September, the White House announced a letter from the North Korean leader to the US President asking him to hold a second meeting.
In October 2018, Trump spoke about the “good chemistry” between him and Kim Jong-UN, and compared the messages of the North Korean leader with “love letters”. In December, Trump announced his intention to invite Kim Jong-UN to the United States.

In early 2019, it became known that the Trump administration is looking for a place to hold a new the US — North Korea summit. Several Asian countries were considered for the meeting, according to the South Korean media, the favorite city for the new summit is the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi. Later, the White House announced that the talks Trump and Kim Jong-UN will be held in late February.
