Kevin Smith praised Zach Snyder’s “Army of the Dead”

The recent release of Army of the Dead by Zach Snyder made a lot of noise. The director was expected to repeat the success of Guardians and Justice League, but the ratings were very controversial.

Many lacked the fullness of the plot, the motivation of the characters, humor, and dignified action scenes. The scores from critics and viewers on Metacritic speak for themselves.

But Kevin Smith, author of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, was delighted.

“Everything was fine. There are wonderful ironic things. I especially liked the way they made the backstory because often the backstories in zombie movies are usually the same.

The story of how Vegas turned into the realm of the dead is a hell of a lot of fun. There were no weak links in the cast, everyone gave their best, ”Kevin said on the Fatman Beyond podcast.
