Katy Perry spoke out about Kanye West running for President

American singer Katy Perry in a conversation with the hosts of Hits radio told what she thinks about Kanye West, who decided to run for President of the United States, reports Billboard.

“I think, looking back, many will agree that this kind of work is best suited to people with experience in this field. We saw and learned that when we don’t have professionals, it can lead to wild consequences, to put it mildly,” commented Perry.

The singer stressed that she “loves” rapper Kanye West and considers him “amazing” in terms of creativity.

“I think he’s an incredible innovator as an artist (Kim Kardashian’s husband is also a successful designer) and an excellent musician. This is what I love most about him,” Perry said.

Last week, an American hip-hop artist announced on Twitter that he intends to participate in the US presidential race.

“Now, we must realize America’s hopes by trusting God, uniting our vision, and building our future. I’m running for President of the United States,” Kanye West wrote.

He did not specify in which year he plans to fight for the post of President, but at the end of the post, he left the hashtag #2020VISION. His candidacy has already been approved by the billionaire founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, who responded to West on Twitter: “I fully support you.”

This Friday, the rapper posted a video on Twitter showing that he started the presidential campaign by registering in the voter lists.
