Kanye West to hold the first campaign event

Rapper Kanye West, who has registered as an independent candidate to run for President of the United States, will hold the first event of his campaign in South Carolina on Sunday, according to the publication Politico, citing a document obtained in the order.

According to the document, the event will be held only for registered participants at the Exquis center in North Charleston, South Carolina. All participants must wear masks and maintain a social distance.

West posted a link on Twitter on Saturday, asking for a signature for his name to be included in the presidential election ballots.

West stated that he intends to participate in the race for the presidential seat as an independent candidate, because the current head of the country, Donald Trump, is already being nominated from the Republicans.
