Johnny Depp may get a role in Tim Burton’s new project

In the wake of a series of scandals with ex-wife Amber Heard, Johnny Depp’s name has already become a household name, and the actor himself is gradually being turned into a persona non grata in Hollywood. Last week, Warner Bros. Studios, Warner Bros. asked the star to give up the role of the dark magician Gellert Grindelwald in the third part of “Fantastic Beasts”. After that, rumors flared up again that the Disney management could refuse the artist to return to the image of Captain Jack Sparrow in “Pirates of the Caribbean 6”.

According to insider Daniel Richtman, his longtime friend and creative associate Tim Burton can help the star’s career. The duo has already worked on eight projects, the last of which is dated 2012. According to Richtman, there is a chance that shortly, Burton and Depp will team up for the ninth time to shoot Beetlejuice 2, which for several reasons has been a headache for the director for many years. If everything is confirmed, Johnny will become Michael Keaton’s on-screen partner, but there is a catch: the sequel to the cult gothic comedy is run by Warner Bros., which broke the contract with Depp for the Harry Potter spin-offs.

At the end of October, it became known that Burton was developing a game series based on The Addams Family. The production of the show is interested in the streaming service Netflix.
