French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier will host his latest fashion show next week. After that, he will take up a new project, said the couturier in social networks.
The show will take place on January 22 at the Chatelet theatre in Paris. It will be dedicated to the 50th anniversary of a career in the fashion business.
“There will be a big party, a lot of my friends, and we will have fun late,” he said in a short video.
According to Gauthier, his career in high fashion will continue. He is developing a “new concept” that he will talk about soon.
Jean-Paul Gaultier is 67 years old. He started his career in the fashion house of Pierre Cardin, created his first collection in the mid-1970s, and founded his own fashion house in 1982.
He created the stage images of many musicians including Madonna, Marilyn Manson, Mylene Farmer, the winners of the Eurovision song contest Dana International and Conchita Wurst.
This show celebrating 50 years of my career will also be my last. But rest assured Haute Couture will continue with a new concept. pic.twitter.com/PJCC53K4tm
