The Hollywood Reporter reported that Jared Leto, who played the prince of the underworld of Gotham, joined the reshoots of the film, to which his character had nothing to do with it before.
The project, which Snyder was unable to complete in 2017, received the green light from HBO Max, and now the streaming service is funding a new streak and reworking of many unfinished scenes. Currently, Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard are already working on the set, but Henry Cavill, who, according to rumors, could also be needed by Zach, confirmed that he would not take part in additional work on the film.
Nevertheless, the appearance of the Joker will connect the “Justice League” with “Suicide Squad” and the DCU as a whole, and this is important for its development in the future. The director’s cut of the film will air on HBO Max as a four-part show next year.
