It became known when the “Nord stream-2” will be completed

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that the project “Nord stream-2” will be completed before the end of the year, and then will be put into operation.

“Those works which are now underway will be completed by the end of the year, and the project will be commissioned,” said Novak.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the completion of work on the first line of the pipeline.

“Nord stream-2” involves the construction of two strands of a gas pipeline with a total capacity of 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year from the coast of Russia through the Baltic Sea to Germany. In addition to Poland, the United States actively opposes “Nord stream-2,” which promotes its liquefied natural gas in the EU.
