Irina Shayk explained why she doesn’t want to talk about Bradley Cooper

35-year-old Irina Shayk rarely confides in journalists about her private life. In a new interview, which appeared today on the Elle magazine website, the model explained why she avoids the topic.

My past relationship is something that belongs to me, and it is personal. It’s just a part of my inner world that I don’t want to give away, – Irina explained her secrecy.

Despite her principle, Shayk still let slip about her daughter Leah’s joint upbringing with Bradley Cooper and complimented her former lover.

Bradley is the most wonderful dad! I have never understood the term “joint custody”. When I am with my daughter, I am 100% mom, and when she is with her dad, he is 100% her dad. Joint custody is just being a parent – Irina commented on her daughter’s joint education.

The model also admitted that she does not follow the publications about herself in the tabloids, where they often like to remember her romance with a Hollywood actor.

I do not read what is published there. I’m too busy raising a child. If they want to write articles about me, then they do their job. I am focused on my life and my friends. The rest is just noise, Shayk said.

Shayk regularly stars for fashion magazines and collaborates with major brands. The model said that the path to the top was not easy, and she had to break many stereotypes.

You’re always labelled, “She’s only for Sports Illustrated. She’s too sexy!” I have heard many times in my life: “She will never work with Steven Meisel. She is not a Burberry girl.” I will not lie – it wasn’t easy to move forward and show people that you can be both – Shayk admitted.

Irina also said that she managed to achieve harmony in herself and her body, although she was often advised to lose weight when she was an aspiring model.

I feel more comfortable: I love my body, I love food, I value life. I really think that this is now in demand in the fashion industry, – Shayk said.
