Iran’s largest warship catches fire and sinks in Gulf of Oman

According to media reports, it was not possible to save the auxiliary vessel “Hark.”

The largest warship of the Iranian Navy caught fire and sank in the Gulf of Oman on Wednesday, semi-official news agencies reported.

The Fars and Tasnim news agencies reported that attempts to rescue the auxiliary vessel “Hark” were unsuccessful.

The ship sank near the Iranian port of Jask in the Gulf of Oman near the Strait of Hormuz.
