Iranian authorities released American Michael White

US Navy veteran Michael White, who was detained in Iran, was released and flew from Iran to Switzerland, where he will go to the US, the Associated Press reported, citing US officials.

It is reported that Michael white is heading home on Board a Swiss government plane. The US special representative for Iran, Brian Hook, went to Zurich with a doctor to meet with White and escort him to the US.
Earlier, the Iranian authorities granted medical leave from prison to a 13-year-old American, Michael White. He contracted the coronavirus in an Iranian jail and was released on bail to the Swiss Embassy in Tehran.
White was sentenced in March 2019. He was convicted of insulting the Iranian leadership and posting a private photo on the Internet.
