Iran will answer to the US for the murder of Suleimani

Iran will not forget the murder of high-ranking General Qasem Suleimani by the Americans and will respond, said Iran’s Supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

“They killed your guest in your own house, confessing to the crime. Iran will never forget this and will certainly strike back at the Americans, ” the website of the Iranian leader quotes Khamenei as saying at a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi in Tehran.

On the night of January 3, the United States conducted an operation near the international airport in Baghdad to eliminate an Iranian General, commander of the special forces of the Islamic revolutionary guard corps (IRGC) Qasem Suleimani and the Deputy head of al-Hashd al-SHAABI, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who is believed in Washington to be involved in the attack on the Embassy. Initially, US President Donald Trump and the Pentagon leadership said that there were no casualties in the attack. Then the military was forced to admit that there were victims. At the same time, their number was steadily increasing.
