Iran has threatened the US and Israel with a strike if they make a mistake

Iran will strike the United States and Israel if they make a mistake, said Hossein Salami, commander of the Islamic revolutionary guard corps (IRGC, part of the Iranian armed forces).

“If you make a mistake, we will strike at both of you (the US and Israel),” Tasnim quoted a senior Iranian military official as saying on the 40th day of commemoration since the death of IRGC General Qassem Suleimani as a result of the US operation.

On the night of January 3, the United States conducted in the area of Baghdad international airport operation against the commander of an elite unit of Iran army – special forces, “al-Quds” General Qasem Soleimani and Deputy head of the Iraqi Shiite militia, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, which Washington believes was involved in the attack on the American Embassy in Baghdad on 31 December. Iran responded on January 8 by firing missiles at a base in Iraq where a US army contingent is located.
