The latest leak concerns the memory configurations of smartphones. It is reported that the older models of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will not have versions with 256 GB of internal memory. Instead, buyers will be offered options with 128, 512 GB or 1 TB.
But there is nothing surprising in this, because Apple has long been practicing a trick with the rejection of the most optimal amount of memory. At first, the company offered 16 or 64 GB at once (without 32 GB), then skipped the 64 GB option, leaving only 32 and 128 GB.
Apple is now offering a base storage option of 128GB for the iPhone 13 Pro, followed by 512GB. This forces users to buy a more expensive option, although 256 GB would be enough for many.
At the same time, the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 will be available in versions with 64, 128, and 256 GB of memory.
