Analysts at Counterpoint Research have summed up the results of the first quarter in the global smartphone market, counting sales both in monetary terms and in units.
If we talk about revenue, it amounted to more than $ 100 billion for the past quarter. Moreover, 42% of the total amount was taken by Apple, the best-selling smartphones of which were (not surprisingly) representatives of the iPhone 12 family.
So, the highest grossing machine in the world was the iPhone 12 Pro Max with 12% of all revenue. It is followed by the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 11 with 11%, 9% and 3%, respectively. Also in the TOP 10 Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G (3%), iPhone 12 mini (2%), Galaxy S21 (5%), Huawei Mate 40 Pro (2%), Galaxy S21 Plus (1%) and iPhone SE 2020 (one%).
If we consider sales in pieces, then the iPhone 12 became the best selling here with a share of 5%. This is followed by the iPhone 12 Pro Max (4%), iPhone 12 Pro (3%), iPhone 11 (2%) and Xiaomi Redmi 9A (2%).
