IPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro sound problems

Apple has launched a new service program for owners of last year’s iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro smartphones.

The company says that “a small percentage” of gadgets have a problem with the speaker: during a telephone conversation, no sounds are heard from it.

“Apple has determined that a very small percentage of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro devices may experience audio problems due to a faulty speaker module component. The affected devices were manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021. If your iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro does not make sounds when you make or receive calls, it may be subject to service, ”the company said in a statement.

Users must make an appointment with an Apple Retail Store in advance or contact Apple Support. All repair services will be provided to them free of charge.

By the way, this does not apply to iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12 Pro Max – they have no problems.
