Samsung confirmed earlier this year that it is working on a new flagship Exynos 2200 chip with AMD graphics. It was assumed that only Galaxy S22 smartphones will receive it, but it seems that this is not the case.
Samsung is planning to sell its flagship chip to other manufacturers, according to a Chinese Weibo insider. The first such company will be Vivo. By the way, in addition to smartphones, the Exynos 2200 may still be installed in Windows laptops.
Recall, according to the latest leaks, Samsung has postponed the release of the Exynos 2200 processor from June to July. The chip is credited with AMD graphics on the RDNA2 architecture, like the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X game consoles. The novelty will also boast ray tracing and variable speed shading.
