The well-known insider with the nickname L0vetodream on Twitter revealed the final names of all four upcoming Apple smartphones.
According to the source, the devices will be named like this: iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The approximate prices of the devices in the USA were also reported earlier. So, the iPhone 12 mini can be bought at a price of $ 749, iPhone 12 – from $ 799 to $ 849. Top Pro models are likely to be priced at $ 999 and $ 1,099 for starter configurations, although the price tag could jump.
Most likely, on September 30, Apple will finally announce the date for the presentation of new products – it will be set for October 6. However, there is a small chance that the devices will still be presented on September 30 and that the intrigue will not be artificially prolonged. But there is a nuance: September 30 is Wednesday, and October 6 is Tuesday. As a rule, Apple announcements occur on Tuesdays, and sales start on Friday next week.
Recall: iPhone 12 mini will be equipped with a 5.4-inch screen, iPhone 12 – 6.1 inches, iPhone 12 Pro – 6.1 inches, iPhone 12 Pro Max – 6.7 inches. All four devices will receive OLED panels, an Apple A14 Bionic processor, the ability to work in 5G networks, as well as dual and triple main cameras. True, wired headphones and power adapters will be missing from the bundles. All that remains is the USB-C to Lightning cable.
Another well-known analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, recently announced that there is no need to expect support for 120 Hz screens from the line. This feature was supposedly saved for the next year. But the amount of permanent memory is likely to grow to 128 GB. RAM in iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 will be 4 GB, in Pro versions – 6 GB. True, the battery capacity will decrease. They are going to compensate for this at the expense of a less “gluttonous” processor, made using a 5-nm process technology.
And there will also be new body colors: at least the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in navy blue, just like the brand new Watch Series 6 smartwatch.
