Insider: Apple is preparing a game controller and two new Apple TV set-top boxes with A12 and A14 chips

Insider @choco_bit shared some information about future Apple products.

So, according to the source, Apple is currently working on a new Apple TV box. We are talking about two models with different specifications. The former will be powered by an A12X or A12Z processor, while the latter will have a chip that is similar to the A14X SoC. It is also credited with the new iPad Pro. According to rumors, such a processor will be built using TSMC’s 5nm process technology.

Given the power of the SoC, it’s easy to guess that Apple is going to add new demanding games to its Apple Arcade gaming service in the future. Some of them will only be compatible with A13 chips and above, according to an insider. In addition to consoles, @choco_bit reported that the Cupertinians are still preparing a game controller.

Unfortunately, there is no information yet when the new items come out. Perhaps some of this will be shown at the presentation of the iPhone 12. It, according to rumors, will be held next week – October 13th.
