In the USA, a child accidentally wounded his uncle in the head, shooting at chipmunks

An eight-year-old boy accidentally wounded his uncle in the head when they were shooting at chipmunks in the US state of New Hampshire, according to the police of the city of Milton.

According to law enforcement officers, the incident occurred on Friday morning local time.

“It was established that the nephew and a 32-year-old man shot at chipmunks, the bullet ricocheted after killing the chipmunk and hit the 32-year-old uncle in the head. He was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover,” Milton Police said in a statement.

It is noted that the incident is being investigated as an accident.
