In the US, the number of hospitalizations due to COVID-19 fell to the level of November

According to The COVID Tracking Project, on February 27, 48,870 people were treated in clinics in the country for COVID-19.

The number of patients hospitalized in the United States due to the effects of infection with the new coronavirus has fallen to less than 50 thousand, the lowest figure since the beginning of November 2020. This was reported by the New York Post, citing data from The COVID Tracking Project (a joint volunteer project to track the consequences of the pandemic in the United States).

According to the organization, last Saturday, 48,870 people were treated in the country’s clinics in connection with COVID-19, which is the lowest figure in almost four months, which, as the publication noted, is steadily decreasing from the peak of 132,474 hospitalized patients recorded on January 6 this year.

According to Johns Hopkins University, which conducts calculations based on information from federal and local authorities, since the beginning of the epidemic in the United States, more than 28,605 million cases of coronavirus infection have been detected, 513,091 people have died. The country ranks first in the world in both indicators.
